Volunteering and Internships
Volunteering
Promoting voluntarism and its value, educating and providing volunteering positions, Documenta contributes to solving problems, meeting the needs and development of individuals, groups, communities and society.
We invite you to a help us to protect those whose rights have been violated, to work on monitoring, education, scientific research, documenting the facts about the war, work in our library, or to help us with our ongoing project activities. In particular we invite students of law, sociology, history and other social sciences. All others are more then welcome, too; no matter of their age or educational level.
The work on the direct protection and promotion of human rights, close communication with victims and witnesses of crime, participation in educational activities or the organization of public events will gain practical experience, and also help people in our country to be safer, to have their rights respected, and encourage them to fight for their rights.
Internships
From 2010 Documenta has been working closely with the Center for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies, University of Sarajevo (CIPS). So students of postgraduate study of the European Regional Master's Degree in Democracy and Human Rights in South-East Europe (ERMA) have an opportunity to work off their compulsory internship at our organisation.
We have plan to extend this kind of cooperation and partnership to other scientific institutions in Croatia and the region and we encourage all students interested in the topics of human rights, transitional justice processes, and dealing with the past to contact us.
If you would like to spend some time in our time as volunteer or at internship, feel free to contact us!
